How it combines with extraction
Follicular units are extracted by FUE. Implanter pens are a way of placing the grafts, chosen by the doctor according to the area, the intended density and the surgery time.
What to consider
- The density possible per session is still limited by donor capacity.
- It may be performed without shaving the recipient area, depending on the case.
- Follow-up is the same as for the other techniques, with reviews up to 18 months.
