Am I a candidate for a hair transplant?
It depends on the pattern and stability of your hair loss, the quality of the donor area and your expectations. Only a medical assessment can confirm it. The online assessment helps prepare that consultation.
How many grafts will I need?
The number comes from the area of each zone to treat multiplied by the intended density, limited by donor capacity. We measure both and explain the calculation before any decision.
Is the surgery painful?
It is performed under local anaesthesia. You may feel some discomfort during the anaesthetic and in the first days, which is managed with the prescribed medication.
How long is recovery?
Most people return to their usual activities within a few days, with some care. Scabs fall off in the first weeks and growth is gradual over several months.
When will I see the result?
Growth usually starts between the third and fourth month and evolves until 12 to 18 months. It varies from person to person, which is why we review with standardised photographs up to 18 months.
Will transplanted hair fall out?
A temporary shedding in the first weeks is common. The follicles remain and grow hair again. Native hair loss may continue, which is why we assess complementary treatments.
How are my data and photographs handled?
They are health data: only the professionals looking after you can access them, every access is logged and photographs are stored encrypted. You can see who accessed your data in the patient portal.
Can my first consultation be by video?
Yes, in many cases the first assessment can be done by video consultation, using the online assessment photographs. Surgery always requires an in-person assessment.
